Giving Levels

Cost of producing a CXC Youth Cup Medal.

CXC invites all youth between the ages of 7-13 to the CXC Youth Cup events. No membership requirements to score points or get a medal. We welcome everyone take part in this fun and exciting. series.

A bib for visually impaired skier or a guide.

It is important that the skier and his or her guide wear bibs that identify them as a blind skier and guide, respectively. This prevents other skiers from attempting to ski between them.

The adjustable length poles provide schools with a perfect length for every student while minimizing a storage space!

Simple to use Nordic Rocks skis with step-in bindings allow teachers to maximize every minute of class time towards skiing and not worry about having enough boot sizes, and drying ski boots at the end of each day.

A sit-ski is a sled used by a skier with paraplegia, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, or cerebral palsy. It is made from aluminum.

Standing adaptive skiing includes two categories, skiers who are missing a limb or visually impaired skiers. Standing adaptive skiers use standard equipment which includes skis, boots, bindings and poles.

Any donation—between now and the end of the year—will be matched two-to-one by a group of generous contributors, maximizing the power of every gift! One dollar will be matched with two more, resulting in $3 total for every dollar donated to CXC.

These matching donors have challenged us to raise to raise $20,000 before the end of the year, which will leverage an additional $40,000. Any donation from you will make a real difference! Here's what our donors made possible last year:

  • 24,000 students from 154 schools participated in our award-winning Nordic Rocks program.
  • 951 youth and junior athletes competed at 8 CXC Cup events.
  • 100 CXC athletes from 23 clubs qualified and competed at U.S. championship events and international competitions.
  • 174 young athletes from over 50 clubs across the region attended CXC training camps.
  • 169 CXC member coaches attended our EDU events and 109 received certification through CXC/U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
  • 237 individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairment participated in 97 adaptive ski clinics.
  • 211 leaders and coaches from 70 clubs participated in our club development programs.
